Our bank was established in 1916, in Nekoma, Kansas. Our bank's strength was reflected by our survival of the 1930's and 1980's. In 1987, the bank was purchased and moved to LaCrosse, Kansas. The rest is history...

Our bank is commited to serving our community, which includes Rush, Pawnee and surrounding counties. We consistently support our local schools, county fairs, college scholarships, various charitable organizations, and our annual Angel Tree project. Our employees actively volunteer in the community by being involved in United Fund, Kansas State University Cooperative Extension Service, Lion's Club, local churchs, Chamber of Commerce, etc.

The Nekoma State Bank and the Pawnee County Bank are participating in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through December 31, 2010, all non-interest bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Some of the bank's NOW and Select Checking accounts are included. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC's general deposit rules.
